Struggling To Get A Decent Internet Signal In Your Build? This Is What You NEED!!!

Hey everybody, I thought I would write another quick post for anybody that is struggling to get a decent internet signal in the back of their build.


I have gone over this before in another post but I thought I would dedicate a whole post to it so its easier for people to find.


You might have noticed when it comes down to signal the back of your van can be like a cave, especially if you have done the right thing and insulated it well. This can be really annoying if you work from your van or want to chill out and watch some Netflix etc. There is no need to worry though as it is an easy and relatively cheap fix.



All you will need is a portable router with 2 x external antenna ports and a decent Omni directional antenna. This way the router will be inside where you want and need it but the antenna (that is already better at finding signal than your router) will be outside on the roof where the signal is sooo much better.

And for the antenna I would recommend going for the best option on the market... The internet rules the world now, you don't want to be stuck without it if you have to work.

Once you have these two things set up you should be able to get a decent signal pretty much anywhere (within reason).


Also a side note, the best network providers for signal in the UK are Vodafone and EE! If you are thinking of getting a new unlimited data contract just for your vans WIFI then these are a very good place to start.
